Problems in the Publishing Industry

The main retailer for my books, as well as Amazon (Kindle) is Draft 2Digital. They have taken over Smashwords, a former rival. The joint business has launched a special offer for readers to obtain eBooks free until 1 January. However, the procedures are not well documented and there appears to be some “office politics” involved between the two camps, D2D and Smashwords.

This book retailer has provided 2 ways for you to get any of my books free. Personally, I think they have made the process unnecessarily complicated and difficult to understand.

For the first method, go to the link below, enter my author name, MattOwensRees, in the top right hand search bar, enter the coupon code SW100, and then proceed to checkout. You will then get all the free books you selected.

Sometimes, you need to open an account with Smashwords, sometimes you have to put gaps in my author name, Matt Owens Rees. It’s not a reliable method.
