He has certainly improved over the last four weeks, but Sunak still gets the better of him at Prime Minister’s Question Time.
Richi Sunak can do this because he rarely if ever answers Starmer’s questions, and is a more skilled orator. He can think on his feet. Starmer seems to stick to his prepared questions.

Starmer could easily have questioned Sunak about his allowing the Civil Service to prepare alternative Labour plans ahead of the next general election. He could have capitalised on Sunak’s discomfort and low popularity ratings. He did not do so.
